"After 25 Years as a Team Vendor, G&G Machine is the best value versus quality machine shop in the Midwest!"
~ John Panetti, Executive Vice President, TEAM Industries

"L&S Electric specializes in repairing electric motors and other rotating equipment; pumps, gear boxes, blowers, anything that rotates.   The parts G&G makes for us include sleeving housings, shafts, gear box housing repair. We've been working with G&G for 21 years. They've been great.  G&G treats us very well. They have a lot of diversified equipment. They can do a lot of different things. No job is too small or too big. They're very responsive to orders that are dropped in on a moments notice. They're never too busy to come over and look at a job. G&G is one of the premier machine shops in the state of Wisconsin. There hasn't been anything we've asked them to do that they haven't been able to handle."
~ John Meidam, President, L&S Electric

"I've been working with G&G for over five years.  My business supplies repair parts to the paper industry.  G&G supplies a variety of parts; small to large, simple to complicated.  G&G can hold the tight tolerances I need because they are always updating their equipment.  They're excellent to work with. They do whatever they need to get the job done. G&G just doesn't goof up."

"About two years ago we were asked to help G&G with layout for a larger plant because they had run out of space in their existing plant. Instead of starting with the plant layout though, we decided to make the most of the space they had with 5S Workplace Organization. So far, they haven't had to move to a new plant because 5S helped them find room they didn't know they had. We started in one corner of the plant with three machines and moved it throughout the plant. From the start, people were very motivated to get rid of clutter and get organized. Today, it doesn't even look like the same building. Everything is organized. They can find the tools they need. They have aisles. It's a whole lot easier to function within this building. In the beginning, some guys were reluctant, they didn't see the value. But they all participated, they all had input on what was being done. Today, they're excited about it. It's opened up capacity, made room for additional machines, morale has improved. Everyone is more engaged in working here than when we started. Once we got past the initial 5S push, we expanded to Value Stream Mapping, setup reduction, Overall Equipment Effectiveness... a lot of the other Lean tools to improve productivity and profitability. The leadership at G&G has allowed them to make improvements rapidly. Mark and Randy are engaged in the process, and looking towards the future. From my viewpoint, I see the end result of implementing these Lean tools leading to shorter lead-times, higher productivity, and improved quality. They're investing in equipment. They're investing in people. They're going to be around for a long time. They've got a very bright future."
